Michal is a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat. For the past ten years, he’s been actively contributing to various OpenSource projects.
Currently, Michal works full-time on the OpenShift project, a self-managing, auto-upgrading, Kubernetes distribution for everyone. He leads a group inside the OpenShift engineering organization that includes three core teams (API&Authentication, Workloads and etcd).
As part of his role, he is responsible for reviewing architectural changes and participates in general product feature design as well as day-to-day teams operations. Over the years, he contributed to several Kubernetes components, including code generation, API machinery and workloads controllers. In OpenShift, his main area of contribution is operators and API servers.
In free time, he enjoys mountain climbing, hiking and skiing.
